Agenda for December 12-16

12-12: Monday:

Speech
TIWL: to understand and practice logos, pathos and ethos and the Motivated Sequence for my Public Service Announcement.
1. Finish Persuasion questions from Friday. (white paper - starts on page 450)
2. View and analyze PSAs to find motivated sequence steps.
3. PSA Instructions from Change Their Minds packet.

Theatre I
TIWL: to stay in character and behave maturely while practicing the play or running crew work.
1. Review basic rules for Dress Rehearsal TONIGHT!!
2. Last minute crew work.
3. Run through sections of the play.

12-13: Tuesday:

Speech
TIWL: to find research (logos) for my Public Service Announcement.
1. Hand back past papers and folders.
2. Correct yesterday's Persuasion Chapter questions.
3. Library. Find research for your PSA topic. SAVE info you find in your computer folder or use your manila folder if you want.
4. Also, fill out blue citation sheets for the info you will use so you can cite your sources later.

Theatre I
TIWL: to stay in character and behave maturely while practicing the play or running crew work.
1. Directions for evening performance, school plays and schedule.
2. Crew Work / Practice
3. Acting Crew 1 Performs TONIGHT!! Be here by 6:30.

12-14: Wednesday:
Speech
TIWL: to find research (logos) for my Public Service Announcement.
1. Library - Day 2. Find research for your PSA topic. SAVE info you find in your computer folder. Also, fill out blue citation sheets for the info you will use.
2. When ready, begin typing your PSA using the Motivated Sequence.
3. PSAs will be due Friday, when we return from Christmas break.

2. Crew Work / Practice
3. Acting Crew 2 Performs TONIGHT!! Be here by 6:30.

12-15: Thursday (and Friday 12-16 for afternoon classes):

Speech
TIWL: to type or write my Public Service Announcement and create Power Point slide(s).
1. Library - Day 3. a) Type your PSA b) Add your Bibliography (title it Bibliography, Works Cited, or Sources.) c) Create Power Point(s) d) Create outlined cards to use when presenting.


Theatre I
TIWL: to stay in character and say my lines without my script.
1. Perform the play in the gym!
