11-28: Monday:

Speech
TIWL: to use the Formula for typing my speech.
1. No QOD today. Get out your yellow Formula for Writing Speeches.
2. Library- Day 4- Begin typing your speech and/or Works Cited page today. Use the Formula for Writing Speeches. Label sections in the margins. If time, create your visual aid. 10 points for use of time.
3. By the end of the hour tomorrow, you will need to have finished typing your manuscript, Bibliography (Works Cited,) and visual aid. If time, outline your cards. Speech presentations begin this Friday, Dec. 2.

Theatre I
TIWL: to stay in character and behave maturely while practicing the play or running crew work.
1. Crew work or practice your lines WITHOUT SCRIPTS!

11-29 Tuesday:

Speech
TIWL: to use the Formula for typing my speech & to finish creating my bibliography & visual aid.
1. No QOD today. Get out your yellow Formula for Writing Speeches and the gold colored Speech to Inform Directions.
2. Library- LAST DAY- Finish typing your speech and/or Works Cited page today. Use the Formula for Writing Speeches. Label sections in the margins. Finish your visual aid. 10 points for use of time.
3. By the end of the hour today you will need to have finished your manuscript, visual aid and Bibliography (Works Cited,) and outlined cards if time. Speeches begin on Friday, Dec. 2.
4. If all of the above is finished get a study guide for Unit Test 3 from Mrs. Cox.

TIWL: to evaluate my classmates and my delivery.
1. Practice your speech with a partner OR write your outlined cards if you are not done.
2. Watch and evaluate your last delivery plus at least 6 other classmates.
3. Speeches are due this FRIDAY.
4. If time, fill in study guides for Unit Test 3.

TIWL: to review and remember terms and concepts for the Unit 3 test.
1. Practice your speech once with a partner.
2. Review organizational patterns and add Motivated Sequence.
3. Fill in Unit 3 Study Guide.
4. SPEECHES ARE DUE AND BEGIN TOMORROW!!

12-2: Friday:

Speech
TIWL: to be an active listener during speeches and to deliver my speech to the best of my ability.
1. **QOD time 5 minutes - Fill in or study your green study guide for test #3! DUE WEDNESDAY. Don't forget the pictures or symbols!
2. Vocal warm-ups.
3. Audience – Write 2 out of 3 of the preview points for each speech, rate the speech on a 1-10 scale and give your reason why.
4. Begin Speeches to Inform.
