11-7: Monday:

Speech
TIWL: to practice my vocal/visual delivery for my speech tomorrow.
1. QOD – What is one delivery component you need work on and describe a plan to help with it. 2. Turn in last Thursday’s Delivery Plans for check-off.
3. Delivery components practice. (Use blue delivery papers)
4. Practice your speech with a partner using components.
5 . Speeches begin TOMORROW! Practice tonight!

Theatre I
TIWL: (stage crew) to think about back stage possibilities while blocking the play(actors) and to learn my positions on the stage.
1. Block the play (cast 2) and write blocking on your script.
2. Continue to think about back stage goals and plans.

11-8: Tuesday:

Speech
TIWL: to deliver an organized speech with all sections and with ENTHUSIASM.
1. QOD – Which types of support did you use in your speech? Give an example of one of them and tell how you worded it
.2. Get out your manuscripts and cards.
3. Vocal warm-ups.
4. Begin Song and Artist Speeches.

Theatre I
TIWL: (stage crew) to think about back stage possibilities while blocking the play(actors) and to learn my positions on the stage.
1. Finish blocking the play (cast 2) and write blocking on your script.
2. Continue to think about back stage goals and plans.
3. Memorize at home!!!

11-9: Wednesday:

1. QOD – Are you using manuscript, impromptu, or extemporaneous delivery for this speech? Explain.
2. Vocal warm-ups.
3. Continue Song and Artist Speeches.

Theatre I
TIWL: to stay in character and behave maturely while practicing the play or running crew work.
1. Crew work.
2. Memorize at home!!!

11-10: Thursday:

Speech
TIWL: to deliver an organized speech with all sections and with ENTHUSIASM.
1. QOD - Which organizational pattern did you use for your speech? Explain why by using your preview.
2. Vocal warm-ups.
3. Continue Song and Artist Speech.

Theatre I
TIWL: to continue back stage crew work.
1. Continue back stage plan and crew work. Share your progress with the class.
2. Memorize at home!!!

11-11: Friday:

Speech
TIWL: to deliver an organized speech with all sections and with ENTHUSIASM.
1. NO QOD TODAY --- Heads up! Begin contemplating a topic for a research based informative speech. Bring 4 letter size envelopes next week.
2. Vocal warm-ups.
3. Finish Song and Artist Speeches.
